Volunteer Opportunities

Mobile Market Fresh Food Distribution (Curbside service) @ Newstart Church, 795 Pollock Rd. Delaware, OH—need help unloading truck, packing boxes/bags with food, loading into trunks to distribute fresh produce & groceries to 130 households. 1^st & 3^rd Mondays volunteers needed 8:30am-11:30am–ongoing

Ongoing Yard work
- Lawn mowing, yard clean up, trimming at intervals in the summer
- Leave raking & yard clean up in the fall
- Trimming, yard clean up, planting & mulch in the spring
- Gardeners to help improve and maintain pollinator garden and other landscape.
- Snow Shoveling in the winter
Painting projects interior & exterior scheduled as needed.
Cleaning projects inside or outside scheduled as needed.
Summer Lunch Program-Weekend meal bags. Help fill bags with pantry items to be given to families at the Summer Lunch Program. May-August (call for details)
Free Legal Advice Clinic
- Need volunteer attorneys to provide brief advice/consultation in person, via zoom, or over the phone
Andrews House Board Member –Serve on the Andrews House governing board. Board meetings are the last Thursday of every month at 6pm (In Person @ Andrews House in Delaware or Zoom) Looking for people who are passionate about our mission, and whose skills and experience can benefit the governance and leadership of our organization.
Serve on one of our board committees such as: Fundraising, Building & Grounds, Programming, Events, or Finance. You need not be a board member to serve on a committee.
IT Support (various projects, ongoing)
Marketing: Website improvement; make videos for social media or other like tasks
Other projects such as cleaning/organizing kitchen or pantry
Periodic help needed for fundraisers
